Private Property

Private property is owned by a variety non federal government governed lands. Ownership may be state, county, timber company, or individuals. Boundaries are seldom defined, and requirements for permits difficult to identify.
Harvesters may have difficulties discerning which is which, and  boundary locations.
To avoid innocent trespass, it is suggested areas where public harvesting is not permitted, be clearly posted.

Signs should be placed at no more than 100 foot intervals and ribbon placed between signs. Two or three ribbons should be visible, from any given point, in both directions, so as not to be mistaken as random markers.

Below are signs which clearly define harvest status of the area about to be entered. These signs were created by MATSUTAKE MUSHROOM and are free for anyone's use.
